Ron Drake was fantastic to work with as he built our house on Oak Island, NC. We came to Oak Island and met with Ron a few times; however, we mostly worked with Ron through text and email. He kept us informed the entire time and provided pictures of the progress. He made the process very easy for us. I highly recommend Drake Construction and would not hesitate to use Ron again.

We can't say enough about working with Ron and his team at Drake Construction! Great eye for design, style & function. Spent hours with us looking at our lot, showing us some of his homes, listening to our desires, coming up with the perfect design and then pointing out some changes he would make off the top of his head to make it even better. Great communicator!! We live in NYS and couldn't be there for breaking ground and much of the build but Ron was great about sending pictures, video & texts. He always responded quickly to texts, emails and calls. Our NC neighbors couldn't believe how quickly the house went up and how hardworking his crew was. Ron & his crew were almost immediately responsive to design requests and changes/ideas we had. When we were down for our first walk through and our requests for changes of doors/windows/steps were already in progress the next day. Ron is a true craftsman whose work is top notch! We could go on and on but would only be echoing all the other positive comments here. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ron for a new build or a remodel and would certainly use him again!

I will be forever grateful to Drake Construction. After Hurricane Florence hit North Carolina, severely damaging our retirement home, we needed help. Ron Drake and his team were there for us. The clean up was enormous, but Drake Construction hit the ground running. They patched the roof in several places, removed the disastrous mess of walls, ceilings, fans, insulation and other debris that fell on the wood floors throughout the house. In addition, Team Drake removed what was left of the kitchen, bedroom and sitting room and remediated the mold and mildew that covered multiple areas. After nearly a full week of clean up the real work began. Ron created a beautiful design for the kitchen, a creative lighting plan, installed a new roof and turned our retirement house into a gorgeous home.
